November White Sturgeon Fishing full of surprises!
Mid November, like so many previous years typically sees a slow down in Sturgeon activity due to cooling or frigid Fraser river temperatures. Not so this Fall. In my experience over the past 2 decades we know that there’s a magic temperature that makes or breaks results. That breaking point is still down the road and so for now we are having a lot of fun hooking up with the beasts of the Fraser river!
Currently river temps are a few degrees above normal. That doesn’t mean it’s time to go for a swim by any means. But Sturgeon biting behaviour is still excellent and the fish are fighting really good and still breaking surface and doing those classic long runs.
Another 2 weeks of prime Fraser River Sturgeon fishing is awaiting you
There’s lots of Sturgeon in the 4 to 7 foot range and many bigger ones too like this 8 footer our guides got November 10th.
